Billing questions

Receipts, failed payments, tax, currency, and who to ask when the billing page does not explain it.

The answers that are not on the billing page itself.

What does it cost?

$25 / month, or $250 / year if you pay for a year at once — a saving of 17%. One subscription, one price, no tiers.

Where are my receipts?

Stripe emails an invoice to your account email address for every payment, and every invoice is also downloadable from Manage billing.

A payment failed

Your billing page shows Payment failed and your blog stays online while Stripe retries the card — you are not taken offline over one declined charge. Go to Manage billing and update your card to settle it. If it is never settled, the subscription eventually ends and the blog goes offline, still without deleting anything.

Where are my card details stored?

With Stripe, never with Savorible. The checkout and the billing portal are Stripe’s, and Savorible only stores the fact that a subscription exists and what state it is in.

Tax, currency and invoice details

Prices are in US dollars. Any tax and any details on the invoice itself — company name, address, VAT number — are handled at checkout and in the Stripe portal.

Refunds

Cancelling keeps your blog online until the end of the period you paid for rather than refunding the remainder. For anything unusual, get in touch — contact support.

Who the subscription belongs to

The subscription pays for a food blog rather than for a person, so it sits with the blog and not with your login.
