When your blog goes offline
Not straight away. Your food blog stays online until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your billing page shows that date. Cancelling on the second day of a month you paid for does not cost you the other twenty-eight.
After that date the blog stops being served to readers, and the dashboard becomes read-only.
What happens to your recipes
They stay. Recipes, photos, tags, settings and your accent colour are all kept, and subscribing again puts the blog back on the web exactly as it was. There is no export step to remember and nothing to reimport.
What readers see afterwards
Links to your blog stop resolving to your recipes once it is offline. If you plan to come back, that is temporary; if you do not, be aware that anyone who bookmarked a recipe loses it.
Coming back
Subscribe again from Billing. Everything is where you left it, at $25 / month or $250 / year.
