How the 30-day free trial works

30 days to build your food blog without a card — and what changes on the day the trial ends.

Every new food blog gets 30 days to be built for nothing. No card, no checkout, no countdown on your first day.

What the trial includes

  • Writing, editing and deleting as many recipes as you like.
  • Uploading photos.
  • Tags, related recipes, your logo and your accent colour.
  • Previewing everything exactly as a reader would see it.

What it does not include

Your food blog is not served to the public during the trial. Being read by the world is what a subscription pays for — so publishing a recipe, and having a blog anyone can visit, means subscribing.

Subscribing during the trial does not cost you the free days: you are not charged until the trial would have ended.

When it starts and ends

The clock starts the moment your blog is created and runs for 30 days. It cannot be extended, paused or restarted — signing out, coming back or creating recipes makes no difference to it.

Your dashboard tells you how many days are left once you are inside the last week, and Billing shows the exact date at any time.

What happens when it ends

If nothing is paying for the blog when the trial runs out, the blog goes read-only. You can still sign in, read everything, and copy anything out — but the editor stops accepting changes and uploads, and your blog stays off the public web.

Nothing is deleted. Every recipe, photo and setting is exactly where you left it, and subscribing brings all of it back immediately.
