Edit a tag across several recipes

Rename a tag, or tick the recipes that share it, from one screen instead of opening each recipe.

Tags can be edited from the recipe, but when you want to add one tag to six recipes at once, the Recipe tags page is faster.

Open the Recipe tags page

  1. Go to Recipe tags in the account menu. On a phone, Recipe tags is in the menu under Edit content.

Every tag on your blog is listed with how many recipes use it. If the list is empty, no recipe has a tag yet — tags are created from inside a recipe.

Edit one tag

  1. Press Edit beside the tag.
  2. Change the Tag name if you want to rename it. Renaming affects every recipe using it, including the “More in …” heading readers see.
  3. Tick the recipes that should carry this tag. Use Search recipes to add if the list is long. Drafts are shown too, marked Draft.
  4. Press Save.

Delete a tag

Untick every recipe and save. A tag with no recipes is removed. There is no separate delete button, because an empty tag is the same thing as no tag.
